The purchasing decision
Picnic buyers can have very different packing tasks. One customer may carry a small drink selection, another may need a broad tote opening, and another may prefer hands-free carry. Start an assortment with those roles rather than a collection of capacities whose practical differences are unclear.
Use the same packing examples to compare formats. Note opening access, handle position, closure operation and the space taken by insulation. A can-count claim is meaningful only when the container size and packing arrangement are defined. Keep props in photography separate from the accessories actually included in the retail pack.
Choose a small set of models with coordinated branding and clear product information. Review the packaging for each, including the final accessory list and folded dimensions. A well-defined range helps wholesale buyers compare the construction and replenish successful models without changing the collection’s basic specification.
What to compare before ordering
| Decision | Review with the supplier | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Customer role | Small carry, broad access or hands-free use. | Select distinct formats. |
| Packing example | Use defined drinks and contents. | Compare practical access. |
| Retail communication | Show included accessories and capacity basis. | Keep imagery and pack copy consistent. |
Include these details in your enquiry
- Target picnic customer and pack examples
- Model and colour assortment
- Included accessory list
- Retail capacity wording and pack dimensions
Identify the model and the version of any drawing or artwork. Ask for assumptions, proposed changes, packing details and commercial terms to be shown in the quotation. MOQ, sample cost and production timing are confirmed for the agreed configuration.
Buyer questions
Can I compare coolers using can counts alone?
Define the can size, arrangement and any ice allowance. Without those details, counts from different products may not be comparable.
Should every image prop be included in the order?
No. Make the included accessories explicit in the purchase specification and packaging copy.
